Allison Keenum

Allison has served as the pianist at MZBC since 2023. She brings a heart for worship into each service she plays and believes that playing the piano for worship is much more than a job, it is a calling. 

Allison accepted the call to serve through music in May 1981. As a minister’s daughter, she played for several congregations until her first official appointment in June of that year and has been ministering in that capacity ever since.

“I am thankful that the Lord called me to serve Him through music. Through playing the piano, I have had many wonderful opportunities to meet, play for, and serve alongside many ministers, music ministers, directors, arrangers, and composers. I pray before I play that the Lord will allow those listening to hear what He would have them hear and not hear any mistakes I make. I have been, and am, so very blessed!”

Allison and her husband, Chris, have two grown sons, Weston and Gray, and a lovely daughter-in-law, Shelby. She and Chris own and operate Keenum’s Problem Wildlife Control, Inc.
