Ministries at Mt Zion

Nursery

Our nursery at Mt Zion is equipped to minister to children from birth to 2 years of age. It is our desire to keep a safe, clean environment where volunteers can establish an atmosphere of love and laughter for our children. We want to teach them, even at this young age, the love of Jesus.

Children

Children from the age of 3 through the 5th grade are provided with Sunday School classes beginning at 9:00 am. We promote an atmosphere of fun and learning designed to help children experience the love of God and grow in their faith through Bible lessons.

Youth

Our youth group is a vibrant, loving family of teens who enjoy many activities together throughout the year. The focus of all youth activities is to provide students with what it takes to live lives that bring glory and honor to Jesus!

College and Young Adult

Here at Mt Zion, we value the next generation. Our College and Young Adults meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. The class provides opportunities for college-aged young-adult singles or married couples to grow in their faith and enjoy the fellowship of other young adults.

Adult

Adults have several opportunities to meet and grow through times of Bible study and fellowship. Sunday School is available for all ages; classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. Sunday evening Discipleship Groups class at 5:30 pm.

Senior Adults

We place a high value on our senior adults at Mt Zion. Our senior women have a Sunday school class at 9:00 am, and our senior men meet at 9:00 am, as well. A combined Discipleship Group meets at 5:30pm on Sunday Evenings. Come be a part of these growing classes.

Women's Group

Join WMU at Mt Zion! The Women's Missionary Union was founded in 1888 and was formed to challenge those who join to carry out the Great Commission!

Men's Group

Men need men to strengthen and encourage one another. The goal of the men’s ministry is to equip men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, in the workplace, and in all the places they walk in this world. We seek to bring men into a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by uniting them in fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability!

Music Ministry

Music plays an important role in creating the atmosphere of worship within the church. Our choir participates in the Sunday morning service each week at 10:00 am. At Mt. Zion our worship services include a wide variety of musical styles that range from Southern Gospel to traditional hymns to modern contemporary worship songs. The important thing is we sing songs about our Savior Jesus Christ and worship Him alone!
